ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 67-year-old man driving a Corvette died at the scene of a crash Tuesday afternoon on 590 South.
According to New York State Police, the driver of a 1973 Chevrolet Corvette was heading south on 590 when he tried to pass a 2016 International Harvester garbage truck at 2:52 p.m. Police say he hit the truck, and the impact forced his car to the right, where it wrapped around the front of the garbage truck and caught fire.
