New York Cider Festival Rochester celebrates second year

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Hard ciders from across the region were showcased in the second New York Cider Festival of Rochester on Saturday.

The event, held at Radio Social, featured over 15 craft cideries and welcomed attendees to try various flavors offered by local makers and shop for their favorites.

Scott Ramsey, Executive Director of NY Cider Association, told News 8, “The really amazing thing about New York hard cider, is that we are an agricultural product. We’re directly connected to New York apples, we are the second largest apple growing state in the country, and we have more active cideries than any state in the country.”…
