ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a Rochester teen injured on Sunday night.
Officers reportedly responded to the area of Wilkins Street around 6:25 p.m. on Sunday for reports of a person who had been shot. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found that the victim, a 17-year-old male and resident of Rochester, had suffered a gunshot wound to his lower body. The teen was then taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
