This week marks a milestone for 13WHAM meteorologist Scott Hetsko. Tuesday marks 10 years since he received a heart transplant. Now a decade later, he’s reflecting on that life-saving surgery and what he calls his duty to spread the word about organ donation.
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — It was 2009 when Scott Hetsko first realized something wasn’t right.
“I was 38 years old,” he said. “Every night, I would just zip up the stairs. And one night, I almost passed out. So that night, I said ‘This is weird.'”…
