Man shot and killed on N. Plymouth Ave. identified

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The man shot and killed on North Plymouth Avenue Wednesday night has been identified.

Police say they were called to North Plymouth Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found 34-year-old Isiah Thomas with at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe at least two dozen shots were fired during the incident. At this time, police say they do not have any suspects in custody and are asking anyone with video or information to come forward.

RPD says they are still working to determine whether the victim lived in the area, but do not believe there is any danger to the general public. They believe Thomas was the intended target.
