ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester hosted an opening reception for Hispanic Heritage Month with an annual art exhibition at City Hall.
The exhibition’s theme, “Generations,” highlighted stories of families within the local Hispanic community. Curator Adrian Franco showcased his journey through Puerto Rico, which he took with his father earlier this year.
Artist Angel Miguel Vazquez Sr. was featured as the father and grandfather of individuals in the exhibit’s photos. The exhibition also included a tribute to Victor Antonetti Sr., who passed away in August. His band, Orchestra Antonetti, has been a staple in Rochester for more than 50 years.
