ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Monday is the first official day of fall, and we’re getting a little taste of it to end out this week. It will still be mild out, upper 60s for our highs both today and tomorrow, but there will be moments where it REALLY feels like fall – namely tomorrow morning.
Clouds will clear going through the rest of the day as high pressure settles in, and that high pressure will enable plenty of heat to escape the surface overnight. So much in fact, that some of the models are suggesting low temperatures near freezing close to the Finger Lakes… But we’re more of the opinion things will only get as cold as the mid 40s. Still, if you want to play it extra safe, taking in any sensitive plants tonight isn’t a bad…..
