House undergoing repairs catches fire on Ernst Street, one person escapes and sent to hospital

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A person who was temporarily trapped inside a burning house on Ernst Street on Sunday afternoon was taken to the hospital for smoke-inhalation evaluation.

The person managed to escape and is expected to be okay, officials said.
