Reconnect Rochester challenges people to go a week without driving

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The group Reconnect Rochester is challenging Monroe County residents to go a week without driving to highlight the challenges that people without a car face and promote alternative transportation.

It’s part of the “Week Without Driving Challenge” started by disability rights advocates in Washington State. It runs from Monday, Sept. 29, through Sunday, Oct. 5.
