ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Human remains found back in 2021 have been identified as a Burmese refugee who immigrated to Rochester and went missing in 2011.
According to Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker, skeletal remains were found on Dec. 13, 2021 by State DOT workers near a culvert pipe along State Route 36 in Dansville.
Dental records and other methods were used to identify the remains, which were identified in 2023, as Doh Soe. Baker says various clothing and personal items were found alongside his remains, and are utilizing DNA technology to further analyze…
