ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 16-year-old is in the hospital after being shot in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Champlain Street.
RPD responded to the area around 9:10 p.m. tonight due to a ShotSpotter activation and also a call of a person shot. On-scene officers found no victim; however, a short time later, a 16-year-old was dropped off at Strong Hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
According to RPD, he is critically injured but expected to survive…
