Unlicensed Irondequoit lounge closed after man’s death sparks investigation

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WROC) — A few days after a man died outside the Lush Resto Lounge on Ridge Road when he crashed through a plate glass window, nearby business owners told News 8 that the lounge operated well into the night and was usually packed to the brim.

These new details come shortly after investigators shared that the business operated without a New York State liquor license. The business is now closed and under investigation by the town.

News 8 saw a notice from the town on the door stating, “This structure is unsafe, and its occupancy has been prohibited.”…
