MARCY, N.Y. — Testimony is set to continue on Wednesday in the trial of three former prison guards charged in the beating death of Robert Brooks at Marcy Correctional Facility.
Former corrections officers David Kingsley, Nicholas Kieffer, and Matthew Galliher are charged with second-degree murder. They’re among the 10 prison staff members indicted in Brooks’ death, five of whom have pleaded guilty to manslaughter and one to evidence tampering.
