Guide to Lifespan’s events to help people impacted by Medicare Advantage plan rollbacks

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After several insurers decided to change to drop their Medicare Advantage plans for 2026, Lifespan is working to help people who are impacted.

The nonprofit, which helps older adults and their caregivers, is organizing several events. On Thursday, Lifespan hosted a Medicare Open Enrollment Fair at the Al Sigl Community of Agencies on Elmwood Avenue. The fair allowed people to ask representatives of Excellus, MVP, Aetna, Humana, Wellcare, and EPIC about their 2026 plan offerings.
