BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WROC) — The Brighton Police Department will recognize “Operation Safe Stop Day” on Wednesday.
Operation Safe Stop is statewide initiative that advocates for motorist safety as children get on and off the school bus in partnership with the New York Association of Public Transportation. According to the association, more than 50,000 vehicles pass by stopped school buses while their stop signs are flashing every day.
