ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Four people, including a 1-year-old, were taken to the hospital after being attacked by a dog on Tuesday morning.
It happened inside a home on Laforce Street off North Clinton Avenue. News10NBC was at the scene around 2 a.m. and our photojournalist saw an officer shoot the dog in the yard. Rochester Police say they had to put down the dog for safety.
RPD says that, after the attack, the people inside the home were able to get the dog outside. However, the dog tried to re-enter by pushing at a closed door. Officers say they arrived to find the dog with its paw caught in the door in the backyard…
