ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The woman accused of assaulting a 75-year-old man on Culver Road in August pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault in court on Tuesday.
Toni Palermo appeared before a judge for her arraignment, which at times grew emotional. Palermo broke down when her potential bond was discussed, prompting anger from the family of the victim, Jim Spampinato, who shouted insults and expletives as she took a seat in the courtroom.
