ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Elder Justice Committee of Metro Justice is holding a free informational meeting on Wednesday for nursing home residents and their loved ones to learn about their rights.
“People who live in nursing homes and assisted living facilities and their families don’t know that they have rights,” said Marydel Wypych of Elder Justice. “And so this is why we’re doing this to help inform people and to help them advocate for their rights.”
