BRIGHTON, N.Y. — Two brothers who led police on a stolen car chase, which ended in a crash that killed a 92-year-old man in Brighton, learned their fate on Friday.
A Monroe County Court judge has sentenced driver Theodice Parks to 25 years in prison and passenger Theophilus Parks to 10 years. The brothers both pleaded guilty to assault in the August 2024 crash.
Rochester Police say Theodice, 17 at the time, drove the stolen Kia that crashed into a car driven by Thomas Chase at the corner of East Avenue and Elmwood Avenue.
