ROCHESTER, N.Y. — People on Social Security will soon learn how much they’ll get in their monthly checks next year.
The Social Security Administration will announce the 2026 cost-of-living adjustment on Friday. It was originally set to be announced on Oct. 15, but it was delayed due to the ongoing government shutdown.
