15 years later, family seeks closure in ‘frozen’ Rochester murder case of youth minister

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Paul Vasconcellos was returning late to his home on Post Avenue in Rochester after a church event Oct. 24, 2010 when he was shot in front of his home.

Though he managed to dial 911, he died from his injuries.

“We can’t understand who want to hurt, kill him,” said his mother, Mary Jane Vasconcellos…
