ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department has confirmed a 31-year-old woman will be charged in connection with a robbery at KeyBank on Monday.
Officers responded before 3 p.m. on Monday to the bank located on the 1100 Block of University Avenue for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival at the scene, officers confirmed that a robbery had occurred and were informed that one female suspect was involved.
While it was originally reported to police that a vehicle was involved, RPD says the suspect fled on foot. After a description of the suspect was given and a search began, officers were able to locate a woman matching the description a few blocks away.
