Food for ROC: Guide to local food resources, pantries, pop-ups

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Community members throughout Monroe County and Rochester are coming together to provide resources and meals for those impacted by the pause in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP).

Tops launches Food for Families campaign early amid SNAP benefit pause

Organizations in the area have announced grocery pop-ups to provide food and produce directly to residents. Community pop-ups will be held on the following days and locations:

Rochester Mutual Aid Network’s Free Grocery Pop-Up

On November 1, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Joseph’s Park, located on the corner of North Clinton Avenue and Pleasant Street, people can pick up self-stable food, personal hygiene products, harm reduction supplies, and fresh produce.
