Man seriously hurt in stabbing on Rochester’s west side

Rochester, N.Y. — Police are investigating a stabbing Monday night on the city’s west side.

The victim, a 24-year-old Rochester man, was found on Dr. Samuel McCree Way around 9:20 p.m., according to Capt. Nathan Cornell of the Rochester Police Department. Officers quickly applied a tourniquet to the man and rushed him to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators determined the victim was stabbed on Eddy Street, according to Cornell. The circumstances of the incident remain unclear at this time…
