GREECE, N.Y. — Local food pantries are stepping up to provide delivery options for those in need.
The Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf is one of the few pantries offering delivery to people without transportation or who are homebound. Ashley Williams, a single mother of six, expressed her gratitude for the delivery service. She managed to visit the pantry in person with her grandmother’s help.
“I’m currently without a vehicle, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to get here. So when I just spoke up and asked, they said that (delivery) was an option, and I was really happy,” Williams said…
