First Alert Weather: A News10NBC yellow alert is posted for Monday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A minor accumulation of wet snow has already arrived west of Rochester.  Communities such as Brockport, Spencerport, Albion and Batavia are seeing a slushy accumulation mainly on grassy surfaces. There will likely be more of the same across all of Western New York later tonight and Monday.  As this time of the year the ground is still rather warm so most of the roadways should be running just wet, but caution is still advised on bridges and overpasses.  Since this is the first snowfall of the year, the News10NBC First Alert meteorologists have issued a yellow alert for Monday and Monday night.
