ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Several graduates, as well as faculty from the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, have been nominated for the 68th Grammy Awards.
In the Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals category, Sara Gazarek, Eastman associate professor of jazz voice, is nominated as both vocalist and arranger for “Big Fish” with Nate Smith and säje.
In the Best Classical Solo Vocal Album category, alumna Julia Bullock ’09E is nominated for her performance on “Schubert Beatles”, and Paul O’Dette, Eastman professor of lute, is recognized for conducting the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra on “Telemann: Ino – Opera Arias for Soprano.”…
