ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A celebration of jazz history took place at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church Sunday evening. The event was organized by Pastor Rick Harvey, a Memphis native with a rich background in jazz.
The celebration featured songs by jazz legends such as Duke Ellington. Organizers shared insights into the meaning behind the music and the concert.
