ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A local arts fundraiser called “Knight to Remember” brought the fantasy world to Rochester. The event, organized by Teaching Artists ROC, offered attendees a chance to enjoy art, poetry, and magic with a fantasy flair.
Larry Moss, executive director of Teaching Artists ROC, explained the significance of the event.
“We’re all over Western and Central New York, we go down to the Southern Tier, and it’s really looking to reach learners in a way that they haven’t been before,” Moss said. “So you know some kids learn really well in a traditional classroom, others don’t — and it’s not just kids; when I say learners, I’m talking about learners of all ages.”…
