Arrest made in ‘terroristic threat’ that cancelled Canandaigua dance

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An investigation into threats that led to an event’s cancellation in Canandaigua has resulted in an arrest.

On Saturday, the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum announced the cancellation of its Christkindl Dinner Dance due to a “terrorist threat.” According to the Canandaigua Police Department, officers were made aware of an email threatening violence at the event.

56-year-old Michael J. Keitz was accused of making the threat, which resulted in his arrest on Sunday. Police also said he was wanted on charges in relation to a bank robbery in Buffalo…
