ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Crews broke ground on a project in Rochester’s Upper Falls neighborhood on Monday that will create 22 affordable homes.
The $13 million project aims to expand home ownership opportunities for households earning between 50% and 60% of the area’s median income, which is $36,000 to $43,000 a year.
About $5 million for the project is coming from the state’s Homes and Community Renewal program, while Monroe County and the City of Rochester added more than $3 million in COVID-19 relief funds…
