Petition calls for reversal of ‘severe cuts’ to Rochester Regional Health employee benefits

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Union of Nurses and Allied Professionals (RUNAP) has started a petition to reverse what they call severe cuts to healthcare benefits for Rochester Regional Health (RRH) employees.

The petition claims some employees will see their premiums rise up to 50 times higher. RUNAP also claims that RRH’s lowest-paid employees will pay more than 13% of their income for the most affordable healthcare plan in 2026, which RUNAP says is over ten times higher than in 2025.
