ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — If you check your bank account and find yourself $32.91 richer, that’s thanks to the University of Rochester Medical Center’s class action settlement payment.
If you submitted a claim before July 21, after URMC proposed a settlement in a class action lawsuit regarding its website and MyChart, you should receive the settlement payment of approximately $32.91.
Anyone who used the URMC’s MyChart Patient Portal between January 11, 2021, and January 11, 2023, was able to submit a claim. This also applies to those who filled out a form on URMC’s website between January 2018 through June 12, 2023.
