Man fatally shot at St. Paul and Norton gas station; police searching for gunman

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man in his 30s was shot and killed Tuesday evening at a gas station at the corner of St. Paul Street and Norton Street, according to Rochester police.

Officers were called around 6:45 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the man in the driver’s seat of a vehicle at the gas pumps, suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the victim was alone in the vehicle when a suspect approached on foot and immediately fired multiple shots into the car. The gunman is believed to have run from the area after the shooting. No arrests have been made…
