ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester City School District has been dealing with payroll problems for months, but officials said there has been progress in reducing the number of staff reporting pay issues.
The issues began on July 1, but there were four years of history implementing the Oracle system. A chart referenced by Chief Financial Officer Robert McDowell showed that 30 days ago, there were 1,797 payroll issues reported, and now it is down to 897.
