I-90 tractor trailer crash prompts Hazmat response

HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WROC) —The Henrietta Fire District responded to the scene of a tractor-trailer crash on I-90 on Sunday afternoon.

The District advised motorists and community members of the crash in a Facebook post, stating that the accident occurred near mile marker 369 between the exits to Le Roy and Henrietta. According to officials, the truck crashed into the median and led to a large diesel fuel spill, prompting the response of Hazmat personnel.

Eastbound and westbound traffic was said to be “significantly impacted”, and motorists are asked to consider alternate routes and be prepared for delays. If traveling in the area, motorists should exercise caution.
