ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Temple B’rith Kodesh took part in donating food and providing community resources on Sunday as part of the Caring Committee’s efforts to give back.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., volunteers set up at 2131 Elmwood Avenue to distribute an estimated 200 Thanksgiving baskets, including holiday food items and turkeys, to families receiving services from organizations such as Baden Street Settlement, the Brighton Food Cupboard, Family Promise of Greater Rochester, and TemPro Emergency Housing.
The synagogue also accepted donations of baked goods and funds for their upcoming Jewish Soldiers Hanukkah Project…
