ROCHESTER, N.Y. — As News10NBC tracks strong winds for Thanksgiving Day and Friday, crews from RG&E and NYSEG are preparing to respond to possible power outages.
The utility companies will have more than 1,700 line and tree crews staged across the state starting Wednesday night. That’s 130 additional line crews, according to a statement from the companies.
Even though it’s a holiday, there’s no change in how you report power outages Thursday. RG&E recommends checking your neighbors are out of power as well before reporting to make sure it’s not a circuit breaker that tripped just in your home…
