Rochester’s music stores ready for Black Friday record sale

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Independent record stores across the Rochester region are preparing for Black Friday Record Store Day 2025, offering exclusive vinyl releases, in-store performances and holiday promotions aimed at collectors and casual shoppers alike.

The House of Guitars in Irondequoit will open at 9 a.m. Friday with a full lineup of limited-edition Record Store Day releases. The store plans to offer holiday gifts including HOG apparel, band T-shirts and other accessories, along with free live music from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Free pizza from Mark’s Pizzeria will be available throughout the day.
