A Canandaigua man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he caused a disturbance at a motel and kicked a door in front of two children.
Michael R. Phillips, 34, was taken into custody around 2:00 a.m. on December 5 at the Super 8 Motel on Route 5 and 20.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Phillips was slamming on the doors of other rooms before he kicked a door into another resident’s room. Two children were reportedly present during the incident.
Deputies charged Phillips with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of second-degree harassment.
