ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Imagine having your car stolen four times: three of those incidents within a single year. That’s the reality for Tayalee Morales, a local mother who inadvertently helped lead police to a suspect and an arrest.
Morales, a wife, mother of four and healthcare worker, said her troubles began in early 2023 when her Hyundai was stolen and later totaled after being T-boned. She was three weeks away from giving birth at the time. Everyone was OK, but the crash left her without a car.
Fast forward to this year: Morales said her Kia was stolen in May. By June, she received a letter saying the car was at the Rochester Police Department impound lot. Insurance covered that incident…
