Reducing gun violence in Rochester through Project Exile

Perinton, N.Y. — Project Exile hosted its annual community report luncheon on Thursday.

The event gave local, state, and federal law enforcement partners the opportunity to share their achievements and strategies to curb illegal guns and violence in our community.

“These guys who only know each on the phone, they really, or while they were working, they never really had the time to get to know each other,” said Gary Mervis, founder of Camp Good Days. “I hope, obviously, the cooperation continues and I hope we can move in the right direction.”…
