Shoppers across the Rochester area helped set a new fundraising record in the fight against hunger.
Wegmans customers raised $820,515 for Foodlink through this year’s Check Out Hunger campaign, marking the highest total in the program’s 32-year history.
The total topped last year’s campaign by $115,000 and marked the first time donations exceeded $800,000. All of the money raised supports Foodlink’s mission of ending hunger and building healthier communities…
