ROCHESTER, N.Y. — All three elevators at Tailor Square, an apartment building for low-income older adults, have been out of order since at least Friday. News10NBC’s Declan Stablow visited the building to speak with residents about the ongoing issue.
Residents expressed frustration, saying the elevator problems have persisted for months. Antoinette Latson, who cares for her father with mobility issues, said she has to walk up four flights of stairs to reach him.
“This is a hazard for him. He can’t walk. He don’t come out. He don’t do nothing. But a fire may happen. What should I do? He’s stuck,” Latson said…
