Second body found in Forbes Street church rubble after fire

Rochester, N.Y. — Police confirmed Wednesday morning that a second body was found in the rubble following a fire at a vacant church in the 19th Ward.

The fire broke out around 10 a.m. Sunday on Forbes Street and burned for roughly two hours before it was placed under control, according to Lt. Jackeline Sierra from the Rochester Fire Department. The cause remains under investigation.
