Rochester, N.Y. — With his condition improving, a hospitalized suspect faces charges following a burglary at a jewelry store on the city’s west side, according to the Rochester Police Department.
Jaquan Terry, 24, entered Jorshimal Jewelry on Vincent Street from the roof early Wednesday and emptied $60,000 worth of jewelry from multiple display cases into a canvas bag, according to police.
Officers responded to the scene around 5 a.m. for a report of an alarm activation and a male inside the store stealing jewelry. Police said Terry was yelling for help at a broken rear window and was bleeding significantly from a cut to his arm.
