Crack, guns, and stolen property seized in Lyons drug bust

Deputies arrested a Lyons man after finding more than an ounce of crack cocaine and three handguns during a drug raid earlier this week.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 46 Church Street had long been the subject of public tips claiming it was a source of drug activity. That information helped detectives secure search warrants for both Church Street and a second location on Water Street.

During the search, deputies arrested Antwan Terry. Inside the home, they found crack cocaine and three firearms—one of which was confirmed stolen. Two of the weapons had defaced serial numbers, according to investigators.

Terry was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for having more than half an ounce of crack, and a second count of third-degree possession for intent to sell. He also faces three counts of criminal possession of a weapon due to a prior conviction, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for defaced firearms, three counts of second-degree weapon possession, and one count of criminal possession of stolen property…
