Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — David Kingsley, a former officer at Marcy Correctional Facility was sentenced Friday to 25 years to life for the death of inmate Robert Brooks.
The case marks the first time a New York state correctional officer has been convicted and sentenced for an inmate’s murder, according to special prosecutor William Fitzpatrick.
