Rochester, N.Y. — Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus made an important stop at the Golisano Autism Center on Friday, surprising preschool students with a sing-along and Christmas gifts.
The pair came with the Rochester Police Department’s mounted patrol and real reindeer to delight the kids from CP Rochester and the Happiness House.
“We support children with a variety of different abilities here at the Autism Center,” said Amanda Hefferon, director of children’s services at the Happiness House. “We want our pre-schoolers to enjoy the holidays and the festivities as any child would.”…
