ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A week has passed since three Rochester police officers and a civilian were shot at a call for a domestic situation. The Rochester Police Department says two of the officers injured were released from the hospital in time for the holiday, but the third officer remains in the ICU at Strong Memorial Hospital and the civilian is still hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. A fourth officer shot and killed the suspect at the scene.
“I imagine … this victim going through what she went through is feeling, ‘wow. I got people killed because I called 911.’ She’s probably not feeling a sense of relief,” Antoinette Beard said.
